...The remains of Cindy will continue to bring rains through the
overnight hours...

.Rainbands associated with remains of Cindy will continue to lift
to the north. These rainbands will have the potential to bring
excessive rainfall to the area... but the bands with the heaviest
rains are expected to have moved into northern Louisiana this
evening. Rains though will continue through the overnight
hours... but the potential for Flash Flooding will diminished.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Louisiana and southeast Texas, including the
  following areas, in Louisiana, Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles,
  Beauregard, Calcasieu, East Cameron, Evangeline, Iberia,
  Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lower St. Martin, Rapides, St.
  Landry, St. Mary, Upper St. Martin, Vermilion, Vernon, and
  West Cameron. In southeast Texas, Hardin, Jefferson, Northern
  Jasper, Northern Newton, Orange, Southern Jasper, Southern
  Newton, and Tyler.

* Until 7 PM CDT this evening

* Periods of heavy rainfall are expected across the area as
  rainbands rotate around the center of Tropical Storm Cindy
  today. Excessive rainfall will be capable of producing flash
  flooding. Average rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are
  expected with isolated higher amounts.

* The flooding of roads, low lying areas, and areas with poor
  drainage will be possible. If encountering flooded roadways,
  remember to turn around, don`t drown.


A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
