The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Edwards County in south central Texas...

* Until noon CST

* At 903 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms across central Edwards county. This will cause minor
  flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rocksprings, Devils Sinkhole State Natural Area, Farm to Market
  Road 674 and U.S. Highway 377 north of Rocksprings.

Additional rainfall of up to 1 inch is expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
