.Recent snowmelt in addition to ongoing and forecast rainfall will lead to
continued rises on area rivers through the week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water may be too deep
to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood
waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or local media for further
statements and updated forecasts.

internet at www.weather.gov/iwx under Rivers and Lakes.

All times are in Eastern Time. This statement will be updated in
about 24 hours or sooner if necessary.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Tippecanoe River near Ora
* from Wednesday afternoon until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 8.5 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* At 14.0 feet...Extensive flooding of residences and low lying areas
  begins.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.4 feet which occurred
  on Apr 21 2013.

* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 8.9 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Tuesday morning
  and crest near 13.1 feet around  6 AM Thursday February 22.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 13.0 feet...Extensive agricultural flooding is in progress.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.8 feet which occurred
  on Aug 17 2016.

  The Yellow River at Plymouth
* from late Tuesday night to Monday February 26.
* At 6 PM Monday the stage was 9.2 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage very early
  Wednesday morning and crest near 15.9 feet around  1 PM Thursday
  February 22 and fall below flood stage around  2 AM Sunday February
  25.
* At 16.0 feet...Residential areas and high school property flood.
  Water from 1 to 3 feet deep affects southern and eastern sections
  of the city.

  The Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier
* until further notice.
* At 3 PM Monday the stage was 10.6 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early Tuesday
  morning  and crest near 16.0 feet around  1 AM Friday February 23.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 16.5 feet...Flood waters will approach the top of the Montpelier
  Dikes with several roads becoming impassible. Water begins to hit
  the bottom of the bridge at the gage site.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.5 feet which occurred
  on Dec 1 2011.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to 17.0 feet around  7 AM
  Saturday February 24 with additional rises possible thereafter.
* At 17.0 feet...Residential flooding occurs in Leo, Indiana.

* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 8.2 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Tuesday morning
  and crest near 18.8 feet around  7 PM Wednesday February 21.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 19.0 feet...An increasing number of city streets flood with a
  few homes in Concordia Gardens affected by high water.

* until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 12.2 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 16.8 feet around  1
  AM Saturday February 24 and begin falling.
* At 16.5 feet...Major flooding will occur in and around the village
  of Stryker.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.9 feet which occurred
  on Jun 30 2015.

* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 10.3 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Monday night and
  crest near 15.4 feet around  7 PM Wednesday February 21 and fall
  below flood stage around  2 PM Friday February 23.
* At 15.5 feet...Significant flood problems in southwest Whitley and
  northeast Wabash Counties along the Eel River.  Mobile home park in
  North Manchester begins to flood.

  and crest near 24.1 feet around  7 PM Thursday February 22.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.

* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 13.1 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage very early Tuesday
  morning  and crest near 15.6 feet around  6 PM Tuesday February 20.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 16.0 feet...Moderate flooding is in progress. Secondary roads
  are blocked by flood waters. People in these areas should move
  property to higher ground and those nearest the river may have to
  evacuate their homes.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon
  and crest near 12.8 feet around  7 AM Thursday February 22 and fall
  below flood stage around  7 AM Saturday February 24.
* At 13.0 feet...Access road to Bluffton wastewater treatment plant
  is flooded.

* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon
  and crest near 6.7 feet around  1 AM Thursday February 22 and fall
  below flood stage around  1 AM Sunday February 25.
* At 6.5 feet...Water begins to flood houses on Waldron Lake Drive.

* At 6 PM Monday the stage was 4.3 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Tuesday night  and
  crest near 8.7 feet around  7 AM Thursday February 22 and fall
  below flood stage around 11 AM Saturday February 24.
* At 9.0 feet...Water closes Chicago Avenue and Denver Street in
  Goshen. Rogers Park is completely flooded.

* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 11.0 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 11.3 feet around  5
  AM Tuesday February 20 and begin falling.
* At 12.0 feet...Roads nearest the creek flood and transfer of
  property to higher ground becomes necessary with evacuations
  possible.
