.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

ELEVATED AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES OF 105 TO 107 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED
FOR A FEW HOURS THIS AFTERNOON OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
TEXAS ALONG EAST OF I-35.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

BRIEF ELEVATED AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES OF 104 TO 107 DEGREES ARE
EXPECTED AGAIN SUNDAY AFTERNOON OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
TEXAS ALONG EAST OF I-35.

HEAT INDICES EAST OF I-35 COULD INCREASE FURTHER FROM MONDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY...WITH A FEW READINGS AROUND 108 POSSIBLE. LOCATIONS
ALONG THE I-35 CORRIDOR SHOULD CONTINUE TO SEE SPOTTY HEAT INDEX
READINGS IN THE 104 TO 107 DEGREE RANGE FOR A FEW HOURS.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
EDWARDS PLATEAU AND RIO GRANDE PLAINS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...
WHEN LOWER AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES AND MARGINAL WIND
GUSTS OCCUR. THE GREATEST THREAT WILL BE OVER AREAS THAT DID NOT
RECEIVE MUCH RAINFALL OVER THE PAST WEEK.
