DRY AIR AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL LEAD TO ELEVATED TO NEAR
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON FOR AREAS IN THE
HILL COUNTRY EXTENDING SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE INTERSTATE 35
CORRIDOR AND DOWN INTO THE COASTAL PLAINS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

DRY AIR WILL CONTINUE TO BRING LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY TO SOUTH
CENTRAL TEXAS THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. ELEVATED FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR THE HILL COUNTRY SUNDAY
AFTERNOON.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE MONDAY FOR
AREAS EAST OF HIGHWAY 83 AS STRONGER WINDS ARRIVE BEHIND A COLD
FRONT.

OTHERWISE...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
