A shortwave trough will move southeast through the region tonight
into Saturday, continuing scattered snow showers mainly in the
mountains and in the Hi-Line area. High pressure will then move into
the area Saturday afternoon into Saturday night, which will keep a
few snow showers in the mountains, but will also bring gusty
westerly winds to the North Central Montana plains. A deep low
pressure trough will then move into the Pacific Northwest and Great
Basin Sunday into Monday, which will bring a good chance of snow to
the entire region. Temperatures will continue to be on the cool side
through Monday, with lows in the single digits and teens, and highs
in the 20s.
