Today, partly sunny skies were observed across the region with a
few very light showers developing across Central Nebraska this
afternoon. Areas that saw a shower saw no more than a trace of
precipitation. The story for the day were the winds, with gusts
peaking out of the northwest generally in the 40 to 50 mph range
with a few gusts climbing above 50 mph across portions of the
Sandhills. Highs climbed into the upper 50s to low 60s.

For tonight, winds will slowly decrease but occasional gusts of up
to 15 mph will be possible overnight. Lows will reach the low 30s
in the Panhandle to low 40s in the Central part of the state.
Another blustery day is expected Tuesday, with wind gusts of 30
plus mph again possible across much of the area.
