...Strong southeast winds continue to develop across the lower
Texas coast late tonight...

The combination of a strong low level jet across the lower Texas
coast and surface low pressure across southwest Texas continues
to allow strong southeast winds to develop across the coastal
sections of deep south Texas late tonight through early Wednesday
morning. Southeast winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 35
mph...isolated wind gusts to near 40 mph...can be expected across
portions of Cameron...Willacy and Kenedy counties. These winds
will cause loose objects like trash cans...lawn furniture and palm
fronds to blow around.
