This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.

Light rain may mix with of change over snow after 3 am, generally
around the Interstate 20 corridor. Snow amounts by sunrise should
remain less than one quarter of an inch, but additional snowfall is
expected after sunrise.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is an increasing confidence of minor snowfall accumulation on
Friday. Total snow accumulations of a quarter to a half inch are
expected, primarily on grassy and elevated surfaces, with locally
higher accumulations up to 1 inch possible. Areas most likely
impacted will be along and south of Interstate 20 and north of
US 80 and Interstate 85.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
on Friday.
