NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY...HEAT INDEX VALUES
COULD APPROACH 105 DEGREES FOR A FEW HOURS SUNDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTH ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA ON
MONDAY. ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE GENERALLY SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 20 MONDAY AFTERNOON. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE DAMAGING
STRAIGHT LINE WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
