WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE MIDSOUTH

AN AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS
THE MID SOUTH THROUGH THIS EVENING. AT LATE AFTERNOON THE LEADING
EDGE OF THIS AREA REACH ROUGHLY FROM PARIS TO MEMPHIS TENNESSEE AND
SOUTHWESTWARD TO ELDORADO ARKANSAS.

OVERNIGHT...MOST OF THE RAIN WILL END...HOWEVER...A FEW STRAY SHOWERS
WILL BE POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.

FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY IT WILL BE HOT AND HUMID WEATHER WITH
THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY IN THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. HEAT
INDICES WILL BE AROUND THE 100 DEGREE MARK.

A COLD FRONT WILL BE APPROACHING THE REGION LATE FRIDAY. EXPECT
MORE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH WARM AND HUMID
CONDITIONS IN ADVANCE OF THE FRONT.

THE FRONT SHOULD CLEAR THE REGION BY SATURDAY. AS IT DOES EXPECT
COOLER TEMPERATURES AND AN END TO THE RAIN.
