Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the Mid-South again
today, with the greatest rain chances occurring through early
afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible across the
region. Temperatures will run a few degrees below normal, with
afternoon highs in the mid 80s to near 90 degrees. Rain chances
will continue tonight, with temperatures falling into the lower
70s by sunrise.

The weather pattern will remain favorable for scattered showers
and thunderstorms through the weekend into early next week. This
will keep temperatures in check with afternoon temperatures
topping out around 90 degrees and overnight lows in the low to mid
70s.
