Weather Summary
National Weather Service Paducah KY
240 PM CDT TUE MAY 3 2016

Tuesday was a cool and cloudy day across the Heartland. Morning low
temperatures were around 50 degrees. After sunrise, cloudy skies and
a light northwest breeze kept temperatures mild. By 2 PM, most
locations had peaked in the low to mid 60s.

Disturbances in the upper levels of the atmosphere will keep small
chances for showers in the forecast off and on through tomorrow. The
best rain chances arrive Wednesday, when showers and perhaps a few
thunderstorms will be possible mainly over southwest Indiana,
southeast Illinois, and the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky.

Starting Thursday, surface high pressure will allow dry conditions
to set up until at least Saturday night.

Temperatures will be cooler than normal until Friday with generally
60s to lower 70s for highs and 40s to lower 50s for lows.
Warmer weather will return on Friday, and for the weekend highs,
will rise above normal into the lower 80s.
