Weather Summary
National Weather Service Paducah KY
331 AM CDT WED MAY 25 2016

At early morning skies were partly to mostly cloudy across the
Heartland. Temperatures ranged from the mid to upper 60s and winds
were either calm or light and variable.

Moist southerly flow in the lower levels combined with periodic
upper level disturbances moving daily across the region are
expected to produce chances for showers and thunderstorms through
the end of the month. Most of the rain will likely occur during
the daytime and evening hours, with the best chances for rain
likely to persist over Southeast Missouri to just east of the
Mississippi River.

Most of the thunderstorms that develop will be slow moving and
capable of producing locally heavy rainfall. A few storms may
produce gusty winds and hail over parts of Southeast Missouri and
Southwest Illinois off and on through Thursday.

This early summer like pattern is expected to continue into next
week with highs in the lower and middle 80s and lows mainly in
the 60s.
