Montana Weather Summary

An upper level low pressure system centered over southwest British
Columbia sent a disturbance across Montana today. A few showers and
thunderstorms formed near the Montana-North Dakota border this
afternoon...but these have mostly moved into the Dakotas.

At 3 PM, temperatures ranged from 52 at West Yellowstone to 71 at
Miles City. Skies were mostly cloudy across the state with a few
lingering thunderstorms remaining over extreme northeast Montana.
Winds were mainly westerly with several locations reporting gusts
from 25 to 35 miles an hour.

Tonight and Sunday the state will be under a westerly flow aloft
with moisture moving into western Montana Sunday afternoon. This
