...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN SHELBY AND SOUTHERN JOHNSON COUNTIES...

At 804 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast of
Franklin, or 12 miles southwest of Shelbyville, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Edinburgh, Flat Rock, Princes Lakes, Geneva, Trafalgar, St.
Paul, Marietta, and Waldron.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 79 and 88.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 119 and 123.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and
south central Indiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
100 AM EDT for central Indiana.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
