This hydrologic outlook includes the following rivers:

Illinois River...

Upstream flooding in northern Illinois will cause the river to
continue rising today, as discharge progresses through the river
system. Additional rainfall mid-week will also aid in the rise. Once
there is more certainty about the river forecasts, a
flood warning or statement will be issued if the threat materializes.

For the Illinois River at Peoria...the latest stage is 14.7 feet at
11 AM Monday. Flood stage is 18.0 feet. Minor flooding is forecast...
with a crest of 18.1 feet Thursday morning...which is 0.1 feet above
flood stage. The river should rise above the flood stage of 18.0 feet
early Thursday morning. The river should fall below flood stage early
Friday morning. At 18.0 feet...Some flooding begins to bottomland not
protected by levees.
