This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Heat indices will approach 100 degrees Friday afternoon for
much of South Central Texas excluding the Edwards Plateau. Outdoor
activities during the afternoon hours Friday, especially with
prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, could be dangerous for
those vulnerable to heat related illnesses.

A cold front and upper level low pressure system will move across
the area Saturday night. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms
may be possible in the late afternoon but the best chance of thunderstorms
will be Saturday night and through the overnight hours, mainly
east of Highway 281. Large hail and damaging straight line winds
will be the main threats with these storms.


Spotter activation may be needed late Saturday night if severe
thunderstorms develop.
