This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday the Heat Index will peak between 100 and 105 degrees.

Some weakening thunderstorms may move in from the west Tuesday
night...possibly lingering into Wednesday morning. None of these
storms will be severe...but wind gusts up to 45 mph could occur with
some storms.

Scattered thunderstorms will redevelop Wednesday afternoon and
continue into Wednesday night. Some of these storms could be
severe...with hail up to the size of ping pong balls...and damaging
wind gusts near 60 mph.

There is a slight chance for a couple isolated thunderstorms to move
in from the west or northwest Friday night through Sunday...but most
locations will remain dry.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
