THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK
AREA VERY LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. SOME STORMS COULD BE
STRONG OVER NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...AS WELL AS PORTIONS OF SOUTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA...ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM ALMA...TO
GRAND ISLAND AND OSCEOLA. THESE STRONGER STORMS COULD PRODUCE
HAIL THE SIZE OF NICKELS OR SMALLER...AND WINDS TO NEAR 50 MPH.
THE THREAT FOR STRONG STORMS WILL OCCUR BEFORE 10 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REDEVELOP
OVER THE OUTLOOK AREA...MAINLY IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
HOURS. A FEW STORMS COULD BRIEFLY BECOME STRONG...WITH HAIL THE
SIZE OF NICKELS OR SMALLER. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.

FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE
DANGER IS POSSIBLE DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND BREEZY NORTH
WINDS. THIS IS MAINLY FOR LOCATIONS NORTH OF A LINE FROM BEAVER
CITY TO RED CLOUD TO YORK IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THERE IS
CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY AS ONE MAJOR FACTOR WILL BE HOW MUCH RAIN
WILL OCCUR SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. AREAS RECEIVING COPIOUS
AMOUNTS OF RAIN FROM SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT WILL BE AT MUCH LESS
RISK FOR NEAR CRITICAL FIRE DANGER.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. ALTHOUGH UNCERTAINTY REMAINS HIGH IN THE DETAILS
...THERE APPEARS TO BE AT LEAST A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE STORMS
PRIMARILY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

STRONG SOUTH WINDS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY...WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS
ACROSS MOST OF THE OUTLOOK AREA AVERAGING NEAR 30 MPH WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING.
HOWEVER...SPOTTERS AND DISPATCHERS SHOULD REPORT ALL OCCURRENCES
OF HAIL TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HASTINGS.
