Seasonable temperatures are expected this week. Highs Tuesday will
be around 50 degrees. A little cooler for Wednesday with highs in
the forties and fifties. Then back into the fifties for highs on
Thursday and Friday.
Rain will move north out of South Dakota on Tuesday and spread
across the Red River Valley. The rain will shift into Minnesota on
Wednesday and into eastern Minnesota Wednesday night. Up to an inch
of rain will be possible in the southern Red River Valley for
Tuesday through Wednesday. Another round of rain is forecast for the
northern Red River Valley for Thursday night and Friday. Rain
amounts should be less than a quarter of an inch.
A trough of low pressure will develop over the high plains of
Alberta to Wyoming Monday night. The trough of low pressure will
move into the western Dakotas on Tuesday afternoon and produce rain
across the region.
