A cold front was entering northern Kansas early this morning. Ahead
of the front, winds ranged from light and variable to light and
westerly. Predawn temperatures ranged from the upper 30s over
portions of western Kansas to the upper 40s over much of central

A cold front will usher in much drier air and gusty northwest winds
to Kansas today. Afternoo highs will range from the lower 60s in
northwest Kansas to around 70 near the Oklahoma state line.

Clear conditions will prevail across the region tonight with
seasonable lows ranging from the mid 30s over western Kansas to the
mid 40s in southeast Kansas.
