TODAY...SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR THROUGH THE MORNING AND EARLY
AFTERNOON...THEN SCATTERED CLOUD COVER WITH EMBEDDED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS BEGAN TO DEVELOP BY MID AFTERNOON AND CONTINUING
INTO THE EVENING HOURS...MAINLY EAST OF HIGHWAY 83. A FEW OF THE
STORMS WERE SEVERE IN CUSTER COUNTY...DROPPING LARGE HAIL AND VERY
HEAVY RAINFALL. AFTERNOON HIGHS WERE GENERALLY NEAR NORMAL FOR
LATE AUGUST IN THE MID 80S TO LOW 90S.

TONIGHT...SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH PARTS OF CENTRAL
NEBRASKA LATE THIS EVENING...THEN PUSH OFF TO THE EAST FOR THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS. SKIES WILL BE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY. LOWS IN
THE MID 50S TO MID 60S.
