TODAY AND EARLY THIS EVENING...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF
WHICH WERE STRONG TO SEVERE...MOVED EAST ACROSS THE EASTERN
PANHANDLE AND INTO THE SANDHILLS AND MUCH OF SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS BENEATH THE STRONGEST STORMS RANGED
FROM ONE INCH TO AS HIGH AS 2.1 INCHES IN HERSHEY. IN ADDITION TO
THE HEAVY RAINFALL...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND EVEN A
FEW REPORTS OF QUARTER SIZE HAIL WERE SEEN.

FOR THE REST OF TONIGHT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY
ALONG AND EAST OF THE UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 83 CORRIDOR THROUGH
LATE THIS EVENING. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE LOW TO
UPPER 50S...WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MILES PER
HOUR...TURNING TO THE NORTHWEST PRIOR TO SUNRISE TOMORROW.
