Weather Summary for the MidSouth

Following an unusually hot first three weeks of September, cooler
than normal temperatures will prevail over the Midsouth through the
first day or two of October.

The cool temperatures arrive courtesy of slow moving upper level low
pressure system over the eastern United States. Most of the rainfall
from this upper level low will remained confined to the Ohio Valley
and Great Lakes.
