A warm front will remain nearly stationary across Southern
Missouri through Sunday morning. As a result, several periods of
showers and thunderstorms will occur across Northeast Arkansas and
the Missouri Bootheel. This may lead to flash flooding. In
addition, some storms may be severe.
Meanwhile, a warm, humid, and rain-free day is expected for the
rest of the Mid-South. Expect highs in the upper 80s, possibly
approaching 90 degrees across Northeast Mississippi.
A cold front will move into the Mid-South on Sunday. As a result,
chances for showers and thunderstorms will occur for the entire
Mid-South. Some storms may be severe ahead of the front.
