Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
400 AM EST Mon Feb 19 2018

A warm front will slowly approach from the south today, with rain
expected this afternoon and evening. A southerly flow will shift
to the southwest tonight as the front lifts into the area. This
will result in warmer temperatures. Highs today will range from
the mid 40s to lower 50s.

The southwesterly flow continues on Tuesday, and temperatures
will continue to rise. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70 are
possible in Northeast New Jersey and points away from the coast.
Coastal areas will be cooler, in the 50s, which is still well
above normal for this time of year. Low clouds and fog are
expected to develop tonight with the steady rain transitioning to
drizzle.
