.YESTERDAY...

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVED THROUGH WISCONSIN SUNDAY...BRINGING
LIGHT PRECIPITATION. A WINTRY MIX MOVED THROUGH THE STATE SUNDAY
MORNING. AMOUNTS RANGED FROM A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH UP TO A
TENTH OF AN INCH. SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS THE BADGERLAND
DURING THE DAY.

TEMPERATURES WERE SLIGHTLY BELOW SEASONAL AVERAGES...WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES REACHING THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S IN THE NORTHERN
PART OF THE STATE...WITH MID TO UPPER 40S ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PART.

GUSTY WINDS WERE ABUNDANT DURING THE DAY. SOUTHERLY WINDS IN THE
MORNING SHIFTED TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST BY THE AFTERNOON AS THE
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVED THROUGH. SUSTAINED WINDS WERE BETWEEN
20 AND 35 MILES PER HOUR...WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MILES PER HOUR.

.OVERNIGHT...

SKIES WERE CLEAR ACROSS MOST OF WISCONSIN OVERNIGHT. WEST WINDS
GRADUALLY DIMINISHED AS LOW PRESSURE TRACKED ACROSS THE EASTERN
GREAT LAKES. LOW TEMPERATURES WERE AROUND 30.

.FORECAST...

LOOK FOR RAIN TO SPREAD INTO NORTHWEST WISCONSIN DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND ACROSS MOST OF THE STATE THIS EVENING. RAIN SHOULD
CHANGE OVER TO SNOW IN NORTHERN PORTIONS LATE TONIGHT. THE SYSTEM
WILL EXIT BY TUESDAY MORNING. HIGHS TODAY WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE
50S. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 20S ALONG THE UPPER
MICHIGAN BORDER TO THE UPPER 30S SOUTHWEST.

TUESDAY WILL BRING A COOL NORTHEAST BREEZE OFF OF THE GREAT LAKES
AND KEEP THOSE AREAS OF WISCONSIN IN THE 40S. PLAN ON 50S WELL
INLAND.

EXPECT WARMER TEMPERATURES WEDNESDAY AHEAD OF STRONG LOW PRESSURE
OVER SOUTHERN CANADA. A TRAILING COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS
WISCONSIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY AND BRING A PERIOD OF RAIN TO
THE STATE. THERE MAY EVEN BE A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER.
