.YESTERDAY...AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE TOOK CONTROL OVER THE REGION
WEDNESDAY...KEEPING CONDITIONS QUIET ACROSS THE BADGERLAND. SKIES
SLOWLY CLEARED FROM NORTH TO SOUTH DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS...MAINLY
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE STATE. HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE WELL
BELOW SEASONAL AVERAGES ACROSS WISCONSIN AS HIGHS REACHED INTO THE
UPPER 60S TO THE LOWER 70S...WITH LOWER 60S ALONG LAKE MICHIGAN.
WINDS WERE MAINLY FROM THE NORTH BETWEEN 5 AND 10 MILES PER HOUR.

.OVERNIGHT...ANY LINGERING CLOUD COVER DECREASED ACROSS SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN. SKIES WERE THEN MOSTLY CLEAR STATEWIDE WITH COOL
TEMPERATURES. THERE WERE ALSO SOME FOG PATCHES. READINGS DROPPED OFF
INTO THE 40S TO LOW 50S.

.FORECAST...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING QUIET WEATHER TO THE BADGERLAND
TODAY. A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS TO NORTHERN WISCONSIN ON FRIDAY AND CENTRAL WISCONSIN
ON SATURDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN TAKE HOLD SATURDAY NIGHT
BRINGING DRY WEATHER THROUGH SUNDAY. MANY AREAS WILL REACH THE LOW
80S FOR THE WEEKEND. A COLD FRONT WILL LIKELY BRING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT AND POSSIBLY LINGER IN THE
SOUTHEAST ON TUESDAY.
