...Strong Winds and Slick Spots Continue Through Late Evening...

A strong north wind will continue tonight, gusting to 40 mph at
times, and creating difficult driving conditions on east to west
roads. Colder air will surge into the area overnight. As road
surface temperatures drop below freezing, expect slick conditions
from precipitation earlier today. Secondary roads will be most
impacted, as well as roads in far northwest Illinois which
received the heavier snowfall Monday.
