...High Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      High Risk. Life threatening rip currents are likely
                       in the surf zone. A high risk of rip currents means
                       that surf zone conditions are dangerous for all
                       swimmers.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     Low. Wear sunglasses on bright days, and use sunscreen
                       of SPF 15 or higher if you burn easily.

Weather:               Cloudy with light rain. 60 percent chance of rain.

Temperatures:          Near 50 degrees.

Wind:                  North 15 to 20 mph.

Wave Heights:          3 to 5 feet.

Surf Temperature:      51 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       49 degrees.

Tides:                 A low at 9 21 am. A high at 6 48 pm.

Outlook:               The risk for rip currents will likely remain
                       elevated through the weekend and into Monday
                       of next week with elevated wave heights. The
                       cold, cloudy and wet conditions lingers into
                       Friday night. Warmer temperatures return for
                       the weekend with partly cloudy skies. Slight
                       chance of rain develops late Sunday with the
                       passage of a cold front.
