A WEAK DISTURBANCE ALOFT WILL MOVE ALONG THE NORTH AND SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
LINE TODAY, GENERATING MAINLY HIGH BASED SHOWERS AND WEAK
THUNDERSTORMS. WHILE MOST LOCATIONS HAVE THE CHANCE TO SEE MEASURABLE
RAIN, POTENTIALLY TOPPING OUT BETWEEN A QUARTER AND HALF AN INCH,
MOST OF THE FORECAST AREA WILL SEE LOWER TOTALS. A SECOND WAVE, WITH
AN ADDITIONAL SHOT AT SOME MOISTURE, IS EXPECTED TO PASS ACROSS THE
EASTERN DAKOTAS FRIDAY.

TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL TOP OUT IN THE 70S, WITH READINGS FALLING
BACK INTO THE 50S TONIGHT.
