INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...GOVERNMENT CAMP...DETROIT...
SANTIAM PASS...MCKENZIE PASS...MCKENZIE BRIDGE...OAKRIDGE...
WILLAMETTE PASS...COLDWATER RIDGE VISITORS CENTER...
MOUNT ST. HELENS...WIND RIVER VALLEY

...SNOW EXPECTED OVER THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH AND CENTRAL
OREGON CASCADES THIS WEEKEND...

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ACCUMULATING SIGNIFICANTLY IN THE
SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH AND CENTRAL OREGON CASCADES THIS
WEEKEND...CONTINUING TO BUILD THE AUTUMN SNOW PACK IN THE
CASCADES. SNOW LEVELS WILL FALL TO BETWEEN ABOUT 3000 AND 4000
FEET LATER FRIDAY NIGHT AND GENERALLY CONTINUE IN THAT RANGE
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THIS WOULD BRING SNOW TO THE CASCADE PASSES.

WHILE SNOW MAY FALL AT TIMES MUCH OF THE WEEKEND...CURRENTLY THE
PERIODS OF HEAVIEST SNOW LOOK TO BE LATE FRIDAY NIGHT AND EARLY
SATURDAY...FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER BURST OF SNOW SATURDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING...AND ANOTHER BURST SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.

USE CAUTION IF PLANNING TRAVEL ACROSS THE CASCADES THIS WEEKEND.
BE SURE TO CARRY CHAINS AS WELL AS COLD WEATHER GEAR AND SUPPLIES.
