...A MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN LIKELY IN THE COLUMBIA RIVER
GORGE AND UPPER HOOD RIVER VALLEY FROM LATE TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT...

A WEAKENING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING LIGHT PRECIPITATION TO THE AREA
BY THIS EVENING...AND CONTINUING THROUGH TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL
BE COLD ENOUGH IN MUCH OF THE THE COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE AND UPPER
HOOD RIVER VALLEY FOR THE PRECIPITATION TO FALL AS FREEZING RAIN OR
SLEET. GIVEN THE COLD TEMPERATURES OF LATE...IT WILL TAKE VERY
LITTLE IN THE WAY OF FREEZING RAIN TO CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLOW TO WARM THURSDAY SO TRAVEL
CONDITIONS MAY REMAIN HAZARDOUS FOR MUCH OF THE DAY...EVEN THOUGH
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO TAPE OFF EARLY THURSDAY.
