...A MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN LIKELY WEDNESDAY EVENING AND
WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN THE COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE AND UPPER HOOD RIVER
VALLEY...

A WEAKENING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING LIGHT PRECIPITATION TO THE
AREA WEDNESDAY EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL BE
COLD ENOUGH IN THE COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE AND UPPER HOOD RIVER
VALLEY FOR A MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET TO FALL DURING THIS
PERIOD. GIVEN THE COLD TEMPERATURES OF LATE...IT WILL TAKE VERY
LITTLE IN THE WAY OF FREEZING RAIN TO CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLOW TO WARM THURSDAY SO TRAVEL
CONDITIONS MAY REMAIN HAZARDOUS FOR MUCH OF THE DAY...EVEN THOUGH
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO END AROUND DAYBREAK ON THURSDAY.
