The tornado was brief, touching down on the northwest corner of Ohio State Route 163 and Elliston Trowbridge Road. The tornado damaged a metal outbuilding and destroyed a grain silo. The tornado crossed Elliston Trowbridge Road and damaged the roof of a residence and snapping a couple trees. Debris was lofted into a field beyond the residence before lifting before Graytown Road. The damage was consistent with an EF-0 tornado with an estimated maximum wind speed of 80 mph. ..Rocky Ridge Tornado... Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 70 mph Path Length /statute/: 2.94 miles Path Width /maximum/: 10 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 06/18/2025 Start Time: 07:50 PM EDT Start Location: 3 NE Rocky Ridge / Ottawa County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 41.5496 / -83.1686 End Date: 06/18/2025 End Time: 07:52 PM EDT End Location: 4 NNE Oak Harbor / Ottawa County / OH End Lat/Lon: 41.5605 / -83.1138 Survey Summary: An NWS Cleveland Storm Survey determined that an EF-0 tornado occurred northeast of Rocky Ridge on June 18, 2025. The tornado touched down on the west side of Toussaint Portage Road and moved east, producing some minor tree damage, including one tree onto a house. Another home on Toussaint Portage Road sustained minor roof and facade damage and had a window shattered. The tornado continued northeast to Genzman Road and brought down more tree branches. The tornado lost intensity as it moved further east. However, a roof of a small barn on Fick Road was partially torn off before finally lifting.
