Temperatures this morning are above freezing across much of the
Upper Peninsula; however, road surface temperatures remain near or
slightly below freezing. This has allowed untreated road surfaces
and sidewalks to become slippery, due to some very light freezing
rain that fell early this morning. Conditions should steadily
improve after sunrise as both air temperatures and road surface
temperatures increase.

Please allow extra time to reach your destination this morning and
remember to leave a greater distance between vehicles as it will
take a longer distance to stop your vehicle this morning.
