Daily Hydrologic Activities Discussion

Locally heavy rainfall was observed across northern Kansas and bordering Nebraska and  Colorado
during the 24-hour period, ending at 12 Z this morning.  Up to 2.35 inches of rain was reported
in Hayes KS.  Scattered precipitation fell across most of the mountainous portions of the western
basin, Nebraska, and South Dakota, however reported volumes were generally less than 0.50 inches.

A widespread system is forecast to move across the eastern plains over the following 24 hours.
The Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, eastern Iowa, and northwest Missouri are expected to receive
between 0.10 to 0.75 inches of rainfall.

No locations are presently in flood in the Missouri basin and none are forecast over the next 24
hours.
