This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Early morning thunderstorms in western and northern Kansas will
weaken to only a few showers after sunrise. Another cluster of
thunderstorms will form in eastern Colorado late today and will
move into western Kansas during the evening hours. Isolatged wind
gusts to near 60 mph are possible early this evening, but the
main threat will be Locally heavy rainfall that may produce flash

* Thunderstorm wind damage: Limited risk
* Flooding: Elevated risk
* Lightning: Significant risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

The heavy rain threat area will shift to the south Sunday night
but may affect far southwest Kansas. There will be a chance for
thunderstorms almost every day near the Colorado border with
continued upslope flow. Scattered thunderstorms are possible
across much of western Kansas with a cold front Wednesday.
