A line of thunderstorms extending from Morton to Plainview to
Brice at 1230 AM will move to the south and southeast through 2 AM
bringing a quick period of wind gusts to 45 mph, frequent
lightning, and intense rainfall rates that could bring as much as
an inch of rain in 15 minutes. Areas from Plains to Lubbock to
Floydada and Matador are likely to experience these thunderstorms.
Behind this line a gentler rainfall with an occasional rumble of
thunder can be expected.
