HURRICANE TO DEVELOP IN THE ATLANTIC BASIN WHEN HER
CENTRAL PRESSURE DROPPED TO 882 MILLIBARS...26.05
INCHES...AS SHE MOVED NORTHWEST OVER THE CARIBBEAN.  HER
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS REACHED 185 MPH...MAKING
HER THE 4TH ATLANTIC BASIN HURRICANE OF THE 2005 SEASON
TO ACHIEVE CATEGORY 5 STATUS AND THE 13TH HURRICANE
OVERALL...BOTH SEASONAL RECORDS.  DURING HER 12 DAY
LIFESPAN FROM OCTOBER 15TH TO THE 26TH...SHE KILLED 23
AND CAUSED A TOTAL OF $29 BILLION DAMAGE.
