...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1888, an F3 tornado tore through Sedgwick and Harvey
counties.  It had a track 20 miles long and around 100
yards wide, killed 2, and injured 15.In 1988, severe
thunderstorms pummeled North Texas with hail up to the
size of baseballs.  Hail fell nonstop near Wichita Falls
for 30 minutes!
