Weak low pressure moving along a warm front in place from
northeast Kansas to northern Illinois brought cloudy skies and
scattered light rain showers to the region Sunday evening.
Rainfall amounts were light, ranging from a trace to a few
hundreths of an inch. Temperatures remained above average for mid
December, ranging from 35 in Dubuque, to 49 in Macomb.

CLoudy skies and patchy drizzle will continue across the region
tonight as the warm front weakens and lifts northward. Low
temperatures will range from the upper 20s over northeast Iowa, to
upper 30s over west central Illinois. Leftover clouds and drizzle
will exit the region Monday morning, giving way to partly to
mostly sunny skies by the afternoon and evening. Warm
southwesterly winds will keep temperatures above normal, as highs
will range from the lower 40s over northwest Illinois, to lower
50s over northeast Missouri.
