Cloudy skies and cold temperatures were found across the region on
Thursday, with temperatures 14 to 18 degrees below normal for
early December. Flurries were common for much of the day, with no
accumulation. Thursday high temperatures were in the lower 20s,
however, it felt colder, with wind chill values in the single
digits for much of the day.

Flurries will be possible for portions of the area overnight
tonight, as a large area of high pressure continues to move into
the central United States. Friday low temperatures, will be in the
lower to middle teens. Increasing clouds and lighter winds will be
found Friday, with highs topping out in the lower 20s by the
afternoon. A storm system will track across the Plains Saturday,
bringing accumulating snow to areas mainly north of I-80 Saturday
