Another hot and humid day across eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois,
and northeast Missouri, Scattered showers and thunderstorms
developed in the afternoon and moved acros the region. Rainfall
amounts ranged from a few hundredths to over 2.00 inches parts of
eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois. High temperatures this
afternoon ranged from 78 degrees at Dubuque to 97 degrees at Keokuk.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday night into
Saturday as a cool front moves into central Iowa. Heavy rain is
posslbe with any storms overnight. Low temperatures on Saturday
morning will range from the lower 70s along the Highway 20
corridor to the upper 70s in northeast Missouri and west central
Illinois.
