WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE QUAD CITIES IA IL
906 AM CDT TUE AUG 4 2015

MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND COOL TEMPERATURES WERE FOUND ACROSS THE
REGION EARLY TUESDAY...AS A WEAK HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM REMAINED
OVERHEAD. TEMPERATURES DROPPED WELL INTO THE 50S FOR MOST
LOCATIONS TUESDAY MORNING. HIGH CLOUDS KEPT TEMPERATURES UP THIS
MORNING OVER NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST IOWA. LOWS RANGED
FROM 51 DEGREES IN DUBUQUE...TO 63 DEGREES IN KEOKUK.

A PLEASANT SUMMER DAY WILL BE SEEN TODAY...AS WEAK HIGH PRESSURE
SLOWLY SHIFTS EAST. A SLOW MOVING WARM FRONT WILL REMAIN OVER
NEBRASKA AND MISSOURI...KEEPING THE RAIN CHANCES SOUTH AND WEST OF
THE OUTLOOK AREA TODAY. INCREASING CLOUDS MAY KEEP TEMPERATURES
FROM RISING TOO MUCH TUESDAY...WITH HIGHS EXPECTED TO TOP OUT IN
THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S BY THE AFTERNOON. THERE IS A SMALL
CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHEAST
MISSOURI...SOUTHEAST IOWA...AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS OVERNIGHT
TONIGHT. HOWEVER...MOST AREAS WILL LIKELY REMAIN DRY. OVERNIGHT
LOW TEMPERATURES...WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 50S IN NORTHEAST IOWA
AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS...TO THE MIDDLE 60S IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI.
