Regional Weather Summary

Mostly cloudy skies were found across the plains states overnight,
as a low pressure area was developing over extreme southwest Kansas.
This area of the low pressure has led to increasing cloud cover
across the region. Early morning temperatures ranged from the middle
20s in eastern Nebraska to the lower 30s across most of Kansas and

The low pressure area over southwest Kansas will continue to
strengthen today, with showers possible over eastern Oklahoma. The
rest of the region will see partly cloudy skies with unseasonably
warm temperatures. High temperatures today will range from the lower
40s in southeast Nebraska to the upper 60s in southwest Kansas.

The low pressure system will remain stationary across southwest
Kansas tonight, as a cold front pushes south across most of western
Kansas.  Rain showers and possibly rain mixed with snow will
increase across Nebraska, as cooler air moves into the plains. The
rest of eastern Kansas and Oklahoma will see partly cloudy skies and
mild temperatures. Low temperatures tonight will range from the
lower 20s in northwest Kansas to the lower 50s in central Oklahoma.
