SKIES RANGED FROM MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHEAST KANSAS TO CLEAR TO
PARTLY CLOUDY ACROSS THE REST OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS EARLY
THIS MORNING. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 40S TO THE
LOWER 50S.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ALOFT WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE LOWER
MISSOURI VALLEY TODAY...RESULTING IN A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MISSOURI AND NORTHERN ARKANSAS. A
COLD FRONT WILL DROP SOUTH ACROSS MID-AMERICA LATER TODAY AND
TONIGHT...WITH COLDER AIR GRADUALLY SPREADING SOUTH ACROSS THE
REGION.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL CLIMB INTO THE 60S AND 70S ACROSS
MOST OF THE HEARTLAND...EXCEPT FOR COOLER 50S ACROSS MUCH OF IOWA
AND NORTHERN NEBRASKA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE 20S ACROSS
MUCH OF IOWA AND NEBRASKA...WITH 30S AND 40S OVER THE REST OF THE
REGION.
