...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable flotation
                       device, such as a life jacket or boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     High. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Seek
                       shade during the midday hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

Weather:               Sunny.

Temperatures:          Near 80.

Wind:                  North 15 to 20 mph.

Wave Heights:          3 to 5 feet.

Surf Temperature:      80 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       80 degrees.

Tides:                 A low at 8 o8 am. A high at 2 21 pm.
                       A low at 8 41 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk for rip currents may be possible
                       through the remainder of the week and through the
                       upcoming weekend. High temperatures will continue
                       to trend in the low to middle 80s through the end
                       of the week and into the weekend. Rain shower and
                       thunderstorm chances return starting on Thursday.
