Clear skies covered Western Kansas during the overnight hours and
into the morning today. Low temperatures fell into the low to mid
teens across Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas. The Central and
Eastern portions of the state only slipped into the upper 20s and
lower 30s.

Upper level low pressure troughing will continue to move east
across the Southern states as an upper level high pressure ridge
builds across the West Coast. Surface high pressure will weaken
through the day today across Western Kansas. Little significant
weather is expected today and tonight with the temperatures
warming up compared to yesterday. Winds will remain light and out
of the west through the day today.

Highs today will climb into the upper 40s and lower 50s across
Eastern Colorado and Kansas today. Lows tonight will slip into the
low to mid 20s across Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas, while
the Central and Eastern portions of the state will only fall into
the upper 20s and lower 30s.
