As thunderstorms remained ongoing across south central and
southeastern Kansas, only a few brief showers were noted across
the western half of the state before sunrise. Overnight low
temperatures ranged from the mid 40s in southwestern Nebraska to
the mid 60s in south central Kansas.

An upper level closed low pressure system moving across the upper
Midwest will move farther north this afternoon. As a cold front
continues to move across the southern plains today, surface high
pressure will build into the Central Plains today. This system
will funnel cooler air into the plains today. Warmer conditions
will return on Monday.

Highs today will top out into the mid and upper 70s across the
Central Plains. Lows tonight will range from the mid 50s in
western Kansas to the mid 60s in central Oklahoma.
