WHILE MID TO HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS WERE OBSERVED ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF
OF KANSAS, LOW CLOUDS AND FOG WAS ENCOUNTERED OVER THE EASTERN HALF
OF THE STATE. SOME LIGHT RAIN WAS ALSO NOTED OVER WICHITA EARLIER
TODAY. HIGHS TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 50S IN NORTHWESTERN
KANSAS TO THE MID AND UPPER 40S IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS. A FEW UPPER
50S WERE OBSERVED IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL MIGRATE TOWARDS
THE SOUTHERN PLAINS BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON. MEANWHILE, SURFACE
TROUGHING WILL PERSIST ALONG THE COLORADO AND KANSAS BORDER THROUGH
LATE SATURDAY EVENING. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT WITH
WIDESPREAD FOG AFTER MIDNIGHT. TRAVELERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION
AS VISIBILITIES COULD BE REDUCED TO A QUARTER OF A MILE OR LESS AT
TIMES. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED AGAIN ON SATURDAY WITH
WIDESPREAD FOG IN THE MORNING.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 20S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO
THE MID 40S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. HIGHS ON SATURDAY WILL RANGE FROM
THE MID 60S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 50S IN CENTRAL
KANSAS.
