Skies were mostly clear during the overnight before high clouds
moved in around sunrise. A few showers moved across the northern
portions of the state. Winds were generally less than 10-15 mph
and were out of the south. Lows fell into the upper 60s and lower
70s.

A broad area of upper level ridging will persist across the
Central Plains today. At the surface, low pressure will strengthen
east of the Rocky Mountains. Dry and quiet weather is expected
today and tonight across Kansas. Winds will be out of the south
at around 15 to 25 mph during the afternoon before weakening after
sunset.

Highs today will climb into the mid to upper 90s across the
Central Plains. Lows tonight will range from the mid to upper 60s
in eastern Colorado and extreme western Kansas to the low to mid
70s further east.
