WESTERN KANSAS HAD WIDESPREAD LOW CLOUDS AND FOG THIS MORNING. PARTS
OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS HAD VISIBILITIES UNDER A QUARTER OF A MILE.
MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM NEAR 20 DEGREES IN NORTHWEST
KANSAS TO THE UPPER 30S IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IN EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA WILL MOVE ACROSS
SOUTHERN KANSAS BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING. FURTHER WEST, A STRONG
UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM IS MOVING INTO THE PACIFIC SOUTHWEST STATES. AT
THE SURFACE, A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN PLACE FROM THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE ACROSS THE COLORADO AND KANSAS BORDER INTO
FRIDAY. MOIST SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL CONTINUE MOVING NORTH THROUGH THE
CENTRAL PLAINS TODAY AND TONIGHT. AREAS OF FOG AND POSSIBLY LIGHT
DRIZZLE ARE EXPECTED IN THE CENTRAL PLAINS FROM LATE THIS EVENING
THROUGH THE LATE MORNING FRIDAY.  SOME OF THE FOG WILL BE DENSE.

AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 50S IN WESTERN
NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS TO THE LOWER 60S IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO
AND BOTH THE OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS PANHANDLES. OVERNIGHT LOW
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED IN THE LOWER 30S IN NEBRASKA, NORTHERN
KANSAS AND THE OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS PANHANDLES. THE REMAINDER OF
KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA SHOULD HAVE LOWS IN THE MID 40S.
