THE EVENING THUNDERSTORMS FROM LAST NIGHT HAD DISSIPATED BY
MIDNIGHT, LEAVING MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS.
OVERNIGHT LOWS RANGED FROM THE LOW 60S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND FAR
WESTERN KANSAS, TO THE MID TO UPPER 70S IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN
KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL APPROACH WESTERN KANSAS THIS
EVENING, OTHERWISE, UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE DOMINATES THE PLAINS
STATES. SURFACE LOW PRESSURE ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO AND WESTERN
KANSAS WILL MOVE VERY LITTLE THROUGH TOMORROW. WITH THE
APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE, THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP IN WESTERN KANSAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SOME OF
THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY ARE EXPECTED TO RISE TO AROUND 100 TO 105
DEGREES IN WESTERN AND CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH MID TO UPPER 90S IN
EASTERN COLORADO AND EASTERN KANSAS. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO
THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S IN WESTERN KANSAS, WITH MID TO UPPER 70S
IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS.
