Skies were mostly cloudy across western Kansas last night and this
morning as light showers moved across the state. Precipitation
amounted to a few hundredths of an inch. Winds were windy out of
the northwest at around 20 to 25 mph. Lows fell into the mid to
upper 40s across southwest Kansas.

An upper level low pressure system will slowly move east across
Nebraska this afternoon. At the surface, high pressure will build
across western Kansas as a cold front progresses east into
Missouri. Dry and quiet weather is expected today and tonight with
little to no chance for precipitation after noon. Winds will
remain out of the west and northwest through the day.

Highs today will range from the mid to upper 50s in northern
Kansas to the low to mid 60s in the southern half of the state.
Lows tonight will range from the mid to upper 30s in eastern
Colorado and northwestern Kansas to the low to mid 40s across the
rest of the state.
