LIGHT WINDS AND CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS OF
KANSAS OVERNIGHT. PRE-DAWN LOW TEMPERATURES DROPPED INTO THE TEENS
AND LOWER 20S ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO AND SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL MOVE FARTHER EAST
TONIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH DIGS INTO THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
ROCKIES TODAY. A SURFACE LOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTHEASTERN
COLORADO AND ALLOW FOR A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT OVER THE HIGH
PLAINS TONIGHT. THIS SURFACE FEATURE WILL MOVE INTO CENTRAL KANSAS
TUESDAY AHEAD OF ANOTHER COLD FRONT. CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED
TODAY WITH SOUTH WINDS FROM 15 TO 25 MPH OVERNIGHT.

HIGHS TODAY WILL TOP OUT INTO THE MID 30S OVER WESTERN AND CENTRAL
KANSAS WITH A FEW LOWER 40S POSSIBLE IN EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS.
LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 20S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
TO THE MID 30S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
