REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

1123 AM CDT SUN OCT 11 2015 /1023 AM MDT SUN OCT 11 2015/
Skies were mostly clear overnight across western Kansas. Some fog
developed just before sunrise in the Hays area. Low temperatures
were in the upper 40s to upper 50s.
Well above normal temperatures along with plenty of sunshine can
be expected this afternoon as a surface trough remains in the
Central Plains. A few record highs will be possible. As an upper
level trough moves east across the Northern Plains, a Pacific cold
front will move quickly across Nebraska and Kansas tonight. This
will bring cooler temperatures to the region on Monday.
High temperatures this afternoon will range from the upper 80s to
near 95. Lows tonight will range from the upper 30s and lower 40s
in parts of western Nebraska to the lower 60s in central Oklahoma.
