MID AND HIGH CLOUDS DOMINATED WESTERN KANSAS TODAY, WITH LOWER
CLOUDS MOVING ACROSS THE AREA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WERE MUCH COOLER THAN YESTERDAY, WITH HIGHS RANGING
FROM THE MID 50S IN NORTHEAST KANSAS, TO THE LOW 70S ALONG THE
KANSAS OKLAHOMA BORDER.

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL APPROACH WESTERN KANSAS BY
MORNING, AND THEN CROSS THE STATE BY TOMORROW EVENING. A SURFACE LOW
AND ACCOMPANYING FRONT WILL PUSH NORTHEAST INTO CENTRAL KANSAS BY
MORNING, AND THEN EAST INTO MISSOURI BY TOMORROW EVENING. PATCHY
DENSE FOG WILL DEVELOP ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS
DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS, BUT WILL DISSIPATE BY MID MORNING,
OTHERWISE LITTLE SIGNIFICANT WEATHER IS EXPECTED IN WESTERN KANSAS
THROUGH TOMORROW.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER 30S TO MID 40S
FROM NORTHEAST THROUGH SOUTHWEST KANSAS, WITH UPPER 40S TO LOW 50S
IN SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL ONLY TOP
OUT IN THE UPPER 50S TO LOW 60S ACROSS NORTHERN KANSAS, WITH MID 60S
TO LOW 70S ACROSS THE REST OF THE STATE.
