REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

High clouds decorated an otherwise clear western Kansas sky this
morning. Low temperatures ranged from around 60 degrees to around 70
degrees.

An upper level disturbance in eastern Kansas and Missouri will move
southeast today. At the surface, a trough of low pressure will
remain in western Kansas. A cold front in southern Nebraska will
move into northern Kansas late by this evening and become nearly
stationary. The Central Plains will be mostly sunny to sunny this
afternoon and partly cloudy tonight. There is a chance for
thunderstorms in eastern Nebraska in the late evening.

Afternoon high temperatures will vary from the mid 90s to around 100
degrees in the Central Plains. Overnight low temperatures are
expected in the 60s across Nebraska, western Kansas and in both the
Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles.
