CLOUDS INCREASED AND LOWERED ACROSS SOUTHWEST KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON,
WITH A MIXTURE OF RAIN, SLEET, AND SNOW DEVELOPING FROM SOUTHWEST
THROUGH SOUTHEAST KANSAS BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON. IN SOUTHWEST
KANSAS, SNOW AMOUNTS SO FAR THIS EVENING HAVE RANGED FROM JUST TRACE
AMOUNTS AROUND DODGE CITY, TO OVER AN INCH IN PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEASTERN FORD, AND PORTIONS OF KIOWA AND EDWARDS COUNTIES. HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY ONLY REACHED THE MID 20S TO MID 30S ACROSS MUCH
OF KANSAS, WITH EXTREME SOUTHWEST KANSAS AND THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE
REACHING INTO THE LOW 50S.

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH NEAR THE FOUR CORNERS REGION WILL
MOVE NORTHEAST INTO WESTERN KANSAS BY MID DAY TOMORROW, WHILE A
SURFACE LOW IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO DROPS SOUTH INTO THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE OVERNIGHT, AND INTO SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA TOMORROW. THIS
SYSTEM WILL BRING A MIXTURE OF SNOW AND SLEET TO PORTIONS OF
SOUTHWEST, CENTRAL, AND EASTERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT INTO TOMORROW. 1 TO
3 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN
KANSAS, WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER TEENS TO LOW 20S ACROSS
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH MID 20S TO LOW 30S ACROSS
THE REST OF THE STATE. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL ONLY REACH THE LOW TO MID
30S IN NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS, WITH MID 30S TO AROUND 40
ACROSS THE REST OF THE STATE.
