A FEW BRIEF RAINSHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A WEAKENING UPPER LEVEL LOW
MOVED NORTHEAST FROM OKLAHOMA INTO SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS OVERNIGHT.
THESE SHOWERS PRODUCED PRIMARILY TRACE AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL, WITH A
FEW LOCATIONS REPORTING ONLY A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH. OTHERWISE,
MID AND HIGH CLOUDS KEPT SKIES PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS
SOUTHWEST KANSAS. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 40S
IN NORTHERN KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 40S IN SOUTHERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN
OKLAHOMA.

A WEAKENING UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL SLOWLY
DRIFT EAST INTO EXTREME SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO BY TOMORROW EVENING,
WHILE UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING BUILDS ACROSS THE NORTHERN
AND CENTRAL PLAINS. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IN THE MIDWEST WILL DROP
SOUTHEAST INTO THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY AS A FRONTAL SYSTEM MOVES
ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS, AND A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS TO
THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES. LITTLE ACTIVE WEATHER IS EXPECTED IN WESTERN
KANSAS THROUGH TOMORROW, WITH TEMPERATURES WARMING THROUGH THE FIRST
OF THE WORK WEEK.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL REACH INTO THE LOW 70S ACROSS EASTERN
AND CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH MID TO UPPER 70S FROM WESTERN KANSAS
THROUGH EASTERN COLORADO. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE LOW TO MID
40S FROM EASTERN COLORADO THROUGH NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH UPPER
40S TO MID 50S FROM SOUTHWEST THROUGH EASTERN KANSAS.
