Showers and thunderstorms moved across parts of western and
central Kansas overnight. Rain amounts ranged generally from a
half inch to an inch and a half from Seward county northeastward
through Meade, Ford, Comanche and Hodgeman counties. Other areas
of heavier rain were noted across parts of Ellis, Trego, Gove,
Graham, Sheridan and northern Lane counties. Skies were cloudy
late this morning with temperatures rising slowly into the 60s.

A series of weak upper level disturbances will pass across the
central plains region for the next few days. A front will remain
nearly stationary across northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas.
There are varying chances of thunderstorms across the central and
southern plains through Friday. The best chance of locally heavy
rain tonight will be across south central Kansas. Otherwise,
partly to mostly cloudy skies can be expected.

Highs today are expected to range from the 70s across western
Kansas to the lower 90s in central Oklahoma. Lows tonight will
vary from the 50s in eastern Colorado and far western Kansas to
the lower 70s in central Oklahoma.
