Clear skies covered Western Kansas and Eastern Colorado during the
overnight hours. The gusty winds that proceeded the cold front
began to weaken during the late evening hours and winds shifted
back from the south during the overnight hours. Temperatures
dropped into the upper 20s and lower 30s across the state with
some isolated portions dropping into the low to mid 20s.

A weak upper level disturbance will move through the Northern
Plains during the day today and will bring a weak cold front to
the northern portions of Kansas overnight as a strong upper level
trough approaches the Pacific Northwest. Skies are expected to
remain clear through the day as unseasonably warm conditions
persist. Cloud cover will begin to increase through the day and
winds will remain steady from the south at around 10-15 mph.

High temperatures today will climb into the low to mid 60s across
Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas with the central portion of
the state climbing up into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Lows
tonight will only slip into 20s and lower 30s in the northwestern
portions of the state, while the central and eastern portions of
the state will remain in the mid to upper 30s.
