Gusty north winds increased shortly after the passage of a cold
front which that swept across the High Plains. Much cooler also
funneled into the Central Plains behind the system this morning.
Highs today ranged from the mid 40s in eastern Colorado to the upper
50s in southwestern Kansas.

An upper level trough which pushed a surface cold front across the
Central Plains will continue to drift off to the northeast. This
cold front is expected to move into the Southern Plains later this
afternoon. Mostly sunny skies, breezy north winds and cooler
temperatures can be expected today. Sunny skies and slightly warmer
temperatures will return for the first part of the weekend.

Highs today will range from the upper 60s in northeastern Colorado
to the mid 80s in central Oklahoma. Lows tonight will range from the
upper 30s in northeastern Colorado to the lower 50s in central
Oklahoma.
