REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Skies remained partly to mostly cloudy across western Kansas
overnight as remnant clouds from the evening thunderstorms very
slowly dissipated. Low temperatures ranged from the low 60s in
eastern Colorado and northwest Kansas, to near 80 in portions of
central and eastern Kansas.
Upper level troughing near the Four Corners Region will slowly
progress east into New Mexico tonight into tomorrow morning, while
surface low pressure troughing remains across the Central Plains.
With several small disturbances rotating around the upper troughing,
a slight chance for thunderstorms exists across western Kansas
through tomorrow. Temperatures will remain above normal into the
High temperatures today will only reach into the mid 80s to low 90s
from eastern Colorado through far western Kansas, with mid 90s to
around 100 across the rest of Kansas. Lows tonight will drop into
the upper 50s to mid 60s in eastern Colorado and far western Kansas,
with upper 60s to mid 70s in the rest of Kansas.
