SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF GARDEN CITY WERE OBSERVED
EARLIER THIS MORNING AND QUICKLY DIMINISHED AROUND SUNRISE. MOSTLY
SUNNY SKIES WERE COMMON BY MIDDAY SUNDAY. OVERNIGHT LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOWER 60S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO THE
LOWER 70S IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

UPPER LEVEL RIDGING WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE CENTRAL
PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVING INTO
MONTANA MOVES FARTHER EAST BY MONDAY AFTERNOON. THIS TROUGH IS
EXPECTED TO PUSH A COLD FRONT SOUTH INTO CENTRAL KANSAS BY MONDAY
AFTERNOON. IN THE MEANTIME, SURFACE TROUGHING IN EASTERN COLORADO
WILL STRENGTHEN THIS AFTERNOON. BREEZY SOUTH WINDS, SUNNY SKIES,
AND HOT TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON. THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES WILL INCREASE ON MONDAY WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES EXPECTED
WITH THE PASSAGE OF THE FRONT.

HIGHS TODAY WILL TOP OUT INTO THE UPPER 90S ACROSS EASTERN
COLORADO AND WESTERN KANSAS. A FEW LOWER 100S ARE NOT OUT OF THE
QUESTION. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 60S IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 70S IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA.
