REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Skies were mostly sunny across western Kansas this morning.
Temperatures bottomed out in the 30s but were rapidly rising into
the 50s and 60s as of 11 am with fairly light winds.
A surface trough will develop in the lee of the Rockies this
afternoon. An upper level disturbance will approach the high plains
by late Tuesday along with a cold frontal passage. Clouds will
be on the increase by tonight across the central plains but
precipitation is not expected.
Highs this afternoon will be in the 70s across most of the region.
Lows tonight will vary from the upper 30s and lower 40s in western
Kansas to the mid 50s in central Oklahoma.
