Western Kansas had highs in the mid to upper 90s. The area had a
sunny afternoon sky.

High pressure aloft will remain across Colorado and New Mexico
through late Wednesday. A cold front in northern Kansas will move
into southern Oklahoma by late Wednesday afternoon. There is a
chance for thunderstorms in the Texas Panhandle tonight and patchy
fog in northwest Kansas and extreme southwest Nebraska towards
morning. Elsewhere, the Central Plains will have a partly cloudy
night and mostly sunny to sunny day Wednesday.

Overnight low temperatures will be in the mid 60s in western
Nebraska, northwest Kansas and the Texas Panhandle. Wednesday high
temperatures are expected to range from the mid 90s in western
Nebraska to the upper 90s in western Kansas and in the Oklahoma and
Texas Panhandles.
