SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH WESTERN KANSAS DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS TODAY. FEW STORMS BECAME SEVERE WITH
THE STRONGEST STORMS DROPPING 1 INCH HAIL IN MEADE COUNTY. HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY REACHED INTO THE 80S ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS WITH
THE EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE CLIMBING INTO THE
90S.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL REMAIN PARKED ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND
NORTHERN PLAINS OVERNIGHT WHILE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS TO
BUILD IN CENTRAL COLORADO. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED
TONIGHT WITH LITTLE CHANCE FOR STORMS. THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE
AGAIN TOMORROW AFTERNOON. SOME STORMS MAY BE SEVERE.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE LOW TO MID 60S ACROSS WESTERN
KANSAS TONIGHT. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW TO MID 80S
IN EASTERN KANSAS TO THE MID TO UPPER 80S IN THE WESTERN HALF OF
THE STATE AND EASTERN COLORADO.
