This evening greeted southwest Kansas with clear skies, light
winds, and temperatures reaching into the lower 80s in most

A large upper level low has been sitting over the Great Lakes
region since Monday. Southwest Kansas is situated between the
aforementioned low and an upper level ridge currently across the
Dakotas and central Nebraska. Therefore at the surface, high
pressure will continue to dominate creating comfortable
temperatures and no chance of rain.

Lows this evening will reach the upper 40s near the Colorado
border and in the upper 50s in west central Kansas. Clear skies
continue, as well as light overnight winds. Tomorrow, highs will
be a bit lower than today, with most areas in the lower 70s. A few
locations may reach the upper 80s.
