Skies were mostly sunny across western Kansas this afternoon and
evening. Highs this afternoon ranged from the lower 90s in
southeast Kansas to a little above 100 in central Kansas.

An upper level ridge of high pressure will continue to build
across the Central Plains tonight. At the surface, a lee side
trough of low pressure will slowly develop across eastern Colorado
through early Tuesday morning. Skies will become partly cloudy
tonight with above normal low temperatures expected.

Low temperatures tonight will range from the lower 60s in
northeast Colorado to the mid 70s across northeast Oklahoma. Lows
in Kansas will range from the mid 60s in west central Kansas to
the mid 70s in south central Kansas. High temperatures Tuesday
will range from the lower 90s in northeast Colorado to around 100
in the Texas Panhandle and northwest Oklahoma. Highs in Kansas
will range from the upper 90s in northwest Kansas to around 100 in
central and portions of southwest Kansas.
