High clouds gave western Kansas a partly sunny morning sky. The
morning low temperatures ranged from around 50 degrees to the upper
50s.

An upper level disturbance will move from the Four Corners Region
across western Kansas early Sunday. A stronger upper level
disturbance is expected to move from the Pacific Northwest across
the Intermountain West. A cold front in southern Nebraska will
bisect Kansas from the extreme southwest to the northeast late
tonight. There is the chance for showers and thunderstorms across
eastern Colorado, northern Kansas and much of Nebraska beginning in
the late afternoon and continuing overnight. Additional showers and
thunderstorms are possible in Oklahoma on Sunday. While today will
be hot in the Central Plains, Sunday will be much cooler.

Afternoon high temperatures will range from the lower 80s in
southern Nebraska to the lower 90s in southern Kansas and both
western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. Overnight low temperatures
will range from the lower 30s in western Nebraska to the lower 40s
in northwest Kansas and the upper 40s in the Oklahoma Panhandle.
