Temperatures warmed up generously this afternoon as cloud cover
eroded from west to east. Further west, thunderstorms developed
across the Colorado Front Range today before drifting off into the
adjacent plains. Highs today climbed into the mid and upper 80s from
eastern Colorado to western Kansas.

An upper level ridge over the Rockies and Southern Plains will show
very little movement through Monday. Meanwhile, surface high
pressure extending from the Northern Plains into western Kansas will
remain in place through Monday evening. Partly cloudy skies are
expected tonight with a chance for some late afternoon thunderstorms
on Monday.

Lows tonight will range from the upper 50s in south central Nebraska
to the lower 70s in central Oklahoma. Highs on Monday will climb
into the mid 80s across the Central Plains.
