Mid and high clouds remained over western Kansas through mid
afternoon before clearing. High temperatures today only reached
into the low to upper 30s in northeast Colorado and northwest
Kansas where snow remains on the ground. For southwest through
eastern Kansas highs reached the low 40s to low 50s.

Upper level low pressure troughing extending from the Great Lakes
to central Texas will move off to the east overnight, as an upper
level high pressure ridge builds across the Northern and Central
Plains. Surface low pressure troughing across central Kansas will
weaken and shift east, as high pressure ridging builds into
central Kansas from the west. Little significant weather is
expected through tomorrow with temperatures becoming warmer.

Overnight lows will drop to around 10 to 15 degrees in the snow
covered areas of eastern Colorado and western Kansas, with upper
teens to mid 20s across the rest of Kansas. Highs tomorrow will
only reach into the upper 30s to low 40s in northwest and north
central Kansas, with low to mid 50s across the rest of the state.
