THE QUIET WEATHER PATTERN CONTINUED OVERNIGHT WITH HIGH CLOUDS
DRIFTING ACROSS THE WESTERN PLAINS SHORTLY AFTER SUNRISE. PRE-DAWN
LOW TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE MID AND UPPER 20S FROM
EASTERN COLORADO INTO CENTRAL KANSAS. A FEW LOWER 30S WERE OBSERVED
IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

NORTHWESTERLY FLOW ALOFT WILL REMAIN EVIDENT ACROSS THE CENTRAL
PLAINS TODAY WHILE RIDGING BUILDS INTO THE GREAT BASIN THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON.  THE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO FLATTEN AS IT
PROGRESSES FARTHER EAST. SURFACE TROUGHING OVER EASTERN KANSAS WILL
MOVE EAST TODAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE CENTRAL ROCKIES.
MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES ARE FORECAST FOR TODAY WITH A WARMING TREND
EXPECTED THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF THE WEEK.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 50S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
TO THE UPPER 60S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM
THE UPPER 20S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE UPPER 30S AROUND
OKLAHOMA CITY.
