Regional Weather Summary for Western Kansas

Skies were mostly clear across western Kansas last night. A few
areas of patchy fog were present during the early morning hours as
lows fell into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds were out of the
south at around 10-15 mph.

A strong upper level disturbance will approach the Pacific
Northwest this afternoon, while at the surface, low pressure will
build in eastern Colorado. Dry and quiet weather is expected for
today and through the weekend. Winds will be out of the south at
around 10-15 mph today.

Highs today are expected to climb into the mid to upper 80s in eastern
Colorado and across Kansas. Lows will range from the upper 40s in
eastern Colorado and northwestern Kansas to the low to mid 60s in
the eastern portions of the state.
