HIGH CLOUDS PERSISTED ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT,
RESULTING IN PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF
THE STATE. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES DROPPED INTO THE MID TO UPPER
30S IN NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH LOW TO MID 40S
ACROSS THE REST OF THE STATE.

A WEAKENING UPPER LEVEL LOW IN NEW MEXICO WILL APPROACH SOUTHWEST
KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, WHILE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE
RIDGING DOMINATES THE CENTRAL PLAINS STATES. THIS UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM
WILL BRING INCREASING MID AND UPPER LEVEL CLOUDS TO WESTERN KANSAS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, BUT LITTLE ELSE.

HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL ONLY REACH THE LOW TO MID 60S
ACROSS EASTERN AND CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH UPPER 60S IN WESTERN KANSAS
AND EASTERN COLORADO. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 40S IN
NORTHERN KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 40S IN SOUTHERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN
OKLAHOMA.
