SKIES CLEARED FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT,
LEAVING MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES BY THIS MORNING. OVERNIGHT PRECIPITATION
AMOUNTS VARIED WIDELY ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS, WITH THE MOST
WIDESPREAD AND HEAVIEST AMOUNTS OCCURRING IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.
LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 50S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND FAR
WESTERN KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S IN EASTERN KANSAS.

THE LARGE UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH OVER THE PLAINS STATES
WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST TODAY AND TONIGHT, WHILE A RIDGE OF HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDS OVER THE FRONT RANGE OF THE ROCKIES. SURFACE LOW
PRESSURE TROUGHING IN CENTRAL KANSAS WILL GRADUALLY MOVE EAST INTO
THE MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY, WITH HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING ACROSS THE
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL PLAINS. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN NEAR NORMAL
THROUGH TOMORROW, BEFORE RETURNING TO ABOVE NORMAL ON SUNDAY.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 80S IN NORTHERN
KANSAS, TO THE LOW 90S IN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS AND ALONG THE
KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA BORDER. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE MID 50S
TO LOW 60S FROM EASTERN COLORADO THROUGH WESTERN KANSAS, WITH MID TO
UPPER 60S IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS.
