LOW CLOUDS AND FOG BLANKETED MUCH OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS
OVERNIGHT, AS WELL AS THE EASTERN PORTION OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS. THE
FOG REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN MANY AREAS TO LESS THAN A QUARTER MILE
BEFORE LIFTING AFTER SUNRISE. LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW
TO MID 20S IN NORTHWEST KANSAS, TO THE LOW 50S IN SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL
STRENGTHEN AND APPROACH WESTERN KANSAS BY TOMORROW MORNING. SURFACE
LOW PRESSURE TROUGHING IN EASTERN COLORADO WILL PERSIST TODAY, WHILE
A COLD FRONT ENTERS WESTERN KANSAS TOMORROW MORNING. THIS
APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM AND SURFACE FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE
FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION TO NORTHWEST KANSAS TOMORROW, WITH A SLIGHT
CHANCE FOR RAINSHOWERS IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS. THE FOG AND LOW CLOUDS
IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS WILL LIFT THIS AFTERNOON, WITH A
CHANCE FOR RAINSHOWERS, AND POSSIBLY AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM
APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTH IN EASTERN KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL REACH INTO THE UPPER 50S TO LOW 60S IN
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS, WITH MID TO UPPER 60S IN WESTERN KANSAS.
LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE LOW 30S TO LOW 40S ACROSS WESTERN
KANSAS, WITH MID 40S TO LOW 50S IN THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN PORTIONS
OF THE STATE.
