A FEW RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH NORTHWEST AND
PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS OVERNIGHT, PRODUCING AROUND A QUARTER
INCH OF RAIN OR LESS IN NORTHWEST KANSAS, WITH LESSER AMOUNTS IN
SOUTHWEST KANSAS. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER
50S TO LOW 60S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND FAR WESTERN KANSAS, TO THE
LOW TO MID 70S IN EASTERN AND CENTRAL KANSAS.

A WEAK UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL DROP SOUTH THROUGH THE CENTRAL
PLAINS LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, WHILE A WEAK SURFACE RIDGE
OF HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS ACROSS KANSAS, AND A NEARLY STATIONARY
FRONT IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA MOVES VERY LITTLE. A CHANCE FOR
THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS THROUGH TONIGHT
WITH THE APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY
PRODUCE SMALL HAIL, WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLY STRONG
GUSTY WINDS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL ONLY REACH INTO THE UPPER 70S TO LOW
80S IN NORTHEAST KANSAS, WITH MID TO UPPER 80S ACROSS THE REST OF
THE STATE. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DIP INTO THE LOW TO MID 60S FROM
EASTERN COLORADO THROUGH WESTERN KANSAS, WITH MID 60S TO LOW 70S
ACROSS THE REST OF KANSAS.
